Important reminder: Run Prix has new start and finish locations for 2026. This is really important to note if you've been to previous Run Prix events and are operating on auto-pilot.
Finish line and 5km start are close to 36 Aughtie Drive, Lakeside Stadium Carpark.
10km starts are on Aughtie Drive near MSAC.
21.1k start is near the corner of Albert Rd Drive and Lakeside drive.

Vendors at Race Number Pickup

Public transport is recommended and the nearest tram / light rail stations are on the number 96 route.
How close can you park? Crystal ball says that the earlier you arrive, the closer you park.
Remember that the course is closed, so most car parking spaces within the Albert Park precinct are not usable on race day.
Albert Rd on the north end of the course does have a fair bit of parking that isn't closed down and is free on week ends.
Canterbury Rd to the west of the course provides a fair bit of free parking and you can access the course via the underpasses that go under the light rail on the western side of Albert Park lake. Access from the Wright St underpass is the most direct for the 2026 race.
Saturday race number pickup parking:
You could take the above advice... or drive straight to 36 Aughtie Drive and park there. ($8.20 per day on Sat, at time of writing.) Race number pickup is in the Lakeside Stadium Carpark near the finish line.
21 Portaloos are in Lakeside Stadium car park, near the Finish Line.
2026 note: Due to the soccer match at Lakeside Stadium on the Saturday night the 7 Portaloos normally allocated to the Half Mara start were added to the Finish line allocation so they are better protected. Sorry, allow walk time.
2 Portaloos are located at the Ross Gregory Dr Drink Station.

Great field gathering!
And those in the Half Mara will see them go past as you're assembling in readiness for your race. Give them lots of love and encouragement as they go by.
But PLEASE stay out of their way!
The Half Mara Start Line Below.
You can see how the 10k Prix Race has the shortest line through this part of the course, so we ask you to assemble within the area defined by crowd control barriers.
Please be aware that some very fast people are coming through in the 10k Prix Race. It's not only polite to stay out of their way, it's safer.
Don't be like those Tour de France spectators who get on the telly for causing carnage or affecting race positions.

The 5km start line is only 147.3 meters from the finish line.
The 10km start line is almost 300m from the finish line, on Aughtie Drive outside MSAC. 10k Prix race gets a full width start as it's the first event of the morning.
10k Main race entrants please be mindful of the Half Mara runners coming through on the shortest line, and don't impede their progress. Assemble behind the crowd control barriers on the 'far' side of the road.
Race Day Vendors
Besides the vendors you've seen at Race Number pickup on Saturday there are food trucks.
Coffee, Donuts and Chips/brekky burgers.

Free massage at Run Prix provided by the crew from Continuum Physiotherapy in Heidelberg. Also see them for your pre and post race physio needs. (Not free, but well advised!) |
